Jason: Permelia M. Thomas (1833-1923) was married 12/20/1860 to Robert S. Hill (1828-1894). She was the daughter of Joshua Thomas (Washington Co., MD) and Selina Landis. Permelia's siblings were Mary Catherine Thomas who married Martin M. Funk; Henry L. Thomas who married Mary Ellen Felker; Lewis Thomas; and John Thomas. Joshua Thomas was the son of Henry Thomas (b) 1783 and Catherine Schechter (b) abt. 1790, of Washington Co., MD. There is a Schechter Family History in the Ogle County Genealogical Library located on the lower floor of the Oregon Public Library.
