Brynn: The Easterday History did not give the parents names of John Metz. I guess we'll have to go to another source. I would say that searching Washington Co., MD and Frederick Co., MD records would probably be the way to go. I understand that Washington Co. was erected out of the original Frederick Co., MD. On some of our Maryland lines, we have found that the records were in Frederick Co. to begin with. Harriet
