Ellen, Samuel Furry and Susan Siderstick were married May 5, 1830 here in Washington County. They lived in the Funkstown area of Washington County. Susan was a sister to my gr-gr-grandmother Elizabeth Siderstick Shilling. I have never found anything more of them in this area. Since Furry was an early name in your area, it is possible they may have gone there. But who knows! I, also, am interested in any information on David Gimple, brother to my great-grandmother who lived in Mt. Morris and was a farmer. I have a record that some of this family are buried in the cemetery just west of Mt. Morris. Cannot think of the name just now but my wife and I visited there in June 1996. A large portion of those buried there are early relatives. Catherine Funk Rice is buried in this cemetery along with others of the Rice family. Thank you in advance.
