There is also a guy named Daron Walker who is from Rockford and now edits for a newspaper in Springfield who may have some info. He is collecting information re: one of the Rockford regiments that I was looking at. Unfortunately I lost his EM addy when our computer went down in the Spring. Perhaps someone else online knows him and will send it. I would like to stay in contact with him because he is researching for a book about the regiment my GGrandfather was in.
