    3. Here's a little more: Abner Bond was in the New Jersey militia and State Troops during the Revolutionary War. Emily Light had a daughter, also named Emily, who married John Thompson Ray(they are my husband's grandparents). Emily the younger joined the DAR and references to Abner's service can be found in her online DAR records. I can write more about this later when I am at home and have my notes. I don't know if you're interested in the Rea/Ray connection, but I have lots of information on that as well. Ezra fought in the Blackhawk Indian Wars. I have more information about that and will post it when I get to my notes. Mr. Zellers, may I ask where you got your information about Ezra's birth and emigration, and so forth? I have been looking for so many months and have not been able to turn up information about that. I'm so glad to have these new details.
