In transcribing my great grandfather, Thomas J. Fearer's journal for 1870 I came across a reference to the Oregon Gard. He writes on March 1, 1870 "...the Ex Editor of the Oregon Gard [?Guard] was at J.H. Tices." I haven't been able to find any mention of this paper and wonder if anyone has information about it.
