I'd like to make a few observations about the descendents of John Fearer, Jr. as given by Roger Cubs. I will confine my remarks to Thomas Jenipher Fearer. According to Thomas J. Fearer's family bible, he and Margaret Dick had 9 children. The two obituaries I have for him also said he had 9 children. Ellen Arthelia 2/10 1950 to 11/28/1915 John W. 8/17/1851 to 2/101852 Thomas M. 12/23/1852 to 11/26/1862 Jonathon M. 10/01/1854 to 5/09/1855 Charles 10/26/1856 to 1/02/1863 Anna M 3/29/1860 to 4/29/1860 Lillie Blanche 6/08/1861 to 6/09/1936 Jennie Rose 1/08/1864 to 1/06/1936 William Potter 12/12/1865 to 3/19/1936 (my paternal grandfather) Buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Pine Creek (at least there are headstones there) are Blanche and her husband Frank Strong, and Jennie Rose Fearer Trueblood, as well as, Thomas Jenipher and Margaret Dick. Buried in Plainview in Mount Morris are Anna, John, Thomas, Jonathon, and Charles. William Potter is buried in Riverview Cemetery in Oregon, Ill. I have not found out where Ellen Arthelia was buried. It is interesting to note that William Lawson Fearer , besides his 10 children, raised a boy, Charles E. Bomberger. I have more information on my grandfather's, William Potter Fearer's, family including the Wilson's and Rogers if anyone is interested. Much of my information about John Fearer, Sr. and Jr.'s descendents is from Warren King, who has done extensive research on the Fearers and Medlar's, etc. Whitney Fearer Morrill
