His parents were Sweer H. Reints (d. 1866) and Marie (Johnson) Reints (d. 1864) of Germany. Henry was also born in Germany. He married Wiemke Hassebrouke (sic). They had 10 children. They lived in Minnesota for a short time and then returned to Ogle County. He was born in 1825. As of 1886 all of his siblings were desceased. I'm trying to find out who his uncles were. I'm looking for the connection between Sweer Reints and the father of a John Reints (1824) who married Lucinda Eychaner. John and Henry Reints are born about the same time. I do not know if they were brothers or not. They were possibly cousins if Sweer H. Reints and the father of John were brothers. Any information would be welcome. Thank you.
