Pam, Thank you for your kind offer. My ggrandfather's sister Elizabeth W. STAPLES, (nee Lingg) died 06 Aug 1873, "on the old family homestead" which was in Grand Detour, Ogle Co. She was survived by her husband Elbridge G. STAPLES and 3 children. This information is from the her parents family Bible--tho they predeceased her.
