There were two other brothers, Sikka and Reinkus Reints (spelling unclear). Parents of the boys were Sweer H. Reints and Marie Johnson Reints. If anyone knows of the children of Sikka Reints of the German Valley area in Stephenson County, I'd like to share data. I believe there may have been descendants of his living in that vacinity after he died in the 1850's of small pox along with three of his children. Their remains are buried in Silver Creek Cemetary in German Valley. If anyone is interested in the family ties of the Reints in Ogle and Stephenson County, I'd be glad to share information.
