    3. Hello, Listers! I'm thrilled to find your site, as it offers a wealth of information on early residents in the area. Seeking information on any BILLIG, primarily area pioneer, Aaron BILLIG. Attempting to prove kinship of Annanias N. BILLIG, Samuel and William BILLIG, all of whom enlisted in the Union Army from Forreston, Ogle, IL. Annanias, with the 34th Illinois Infantry, fought the Battle of Shiloh, and with these (likely) brothers, was decorated for Distinguished Service. 1880, Annanias removed to Ross, Franklin, Iowa.
