    3. Interesting on the name change. If you read the history of your families origin you would know that the mother colony for the Ostfriesens was in Stephenson Co. and a lot of them were in Ogle Co. When this area got over populated they moved south in Illinois and then on to IA and MN and places west. My line connects to this line. My Meyer line made it as far as yours, Rockford.
