The Regional Superintendent's Office for Lee and Ogle counties is located in Grand Detour, IL (Ogle County). It is on Route 2 just before you enter Grand Detour on the east side of town. We were there in 2001 and were able to copy records. The records had to be brought to the building from Oregon....you might want to telephone and have the records in Grand Detour for the day you will be visiting. The ladies were very, very helpful.
