I'm guessing that the John ROGERS in your document might be the son of Isaac and Sarah ROGERS, originally of Northumblerland Co, PA and then subsequently of Ogle Co, IL. (According to my information, John's birthdate was circa 1844 which would make him 46 years old in 1890.) The John ROGERS in Mary Ann's message is most likely Issac's brother, making him an uncle to John in your document. As for Valentine PAUL, this could be the grandson of Valentine PAUL and Susanna OTT from Northumberland Co, PA. He would then be the son of Valentine PAUL and Catherine REESE. (According to my information, Valentine was born circa 1840 which would make him about 50 years old in 1890.) Are there any other researchers out there who can confirm my guesses?
