He married on March 29, 1854 to Miss Ellen Wilber who was born in Delaware Co., NY. on Aug. 22, 1936, she was the dau. of Tillinghast & Almira (Underwood) Wilber, old respected citizens of Ogle County. David had a brother Alexander Anderson, and their Father was James Anderson deceased. James was a resident of Lanarkshire, Scotland. He married Aelison Dick, who was likewise born in the shire.
