Hi, I don't know if the following may be related to Joseph - Andrew could be a brother/cousin from the dates and places. Andrew Newcomer, born 25 Nov 1810 in Washington County, MD; married to Eliza Hamilton in 1834; died in Mt Morris, Ogle County, IL 20 May 1885. Andrew's parents were Emmanuel Newcomer and Catherine Funk. That's all I know but it might be a link to follow.
