My grandfather was Jesse Q ALLEN, son of Charles Hollingsworth ALLEN. Charles H was the son of Isaac Hollingsworth ALLEN. I believe, but don't have definitive proof, that Isaac had two brothers James and Aaron Q and a sister Emily. The father of these four I believe to be Captain Isaac Allen. Aaron Quinby established the first school in Mt. Morris, and many of the Allen's were teachers. They came from (where else?) Washington County, and before that in Pennsylvania. Amy Slagle
