There was a group of people from the same area who migrated to Bedford/Somerset County, PA and then onto Stark County, OH within a few years. There were those who went straight to Stark County, OH and some of the next generation went on to Ogle Co, IL. They did travel in groups of neighbors and relatives; with people who spoke the same language and usually belonged to the same religon. The surnames in these migrations that I am researching are BALMER/PALMER, HAUCK/HOUK, BOYER/BAYER, MOORE/MOHR.
