I am still trying to find where Cornelius Bassett b 1789 Chilmark Ma.died. He is last found on the 1860 Census for Buffalo Twshp. and on a sale of property where he has his son in law as his lawyer of for the sale in 1864. The sale is in Ogle Co. but it isn't clear if he living in Delaware Co. NY or from there which is true. I have his information for Ma, and his information for Andes Delaware Co. He also served in the State Assembly. I just can't find his marriage to Elizabeth Cushing in about 1819 possibly in Schnectady, and his death. Sure want to find his will. I am trying to prove he had a daughter Joanna. who married Searing Tompkins in Elmsford Westchester Co. NY. Any help on those two missing documents will be appreciated Marita
