Harris m Eliza Frye/Foreman in Palmyra, Missouri, 1829. She was widow of William Benjamin Foreman. he established a tanner's business in Palmyra. In 1835 they moved to Morgan Co., ILLinois where he had purchased farmland. Eliza must have had some funds to help with their land purchases, probably from her husband's estate as well as from her father, Joseph V. Frye who died in Fayette Co., Ky. in 1812.
