I doubt if he is the James you are looking for, but interestingly enough I am searching in the White County and Morgan County, because it looks like some of his missing siblings, or Uncles ended up there. Also the grandson of James married the publisher of the McLeansboro newspaper, and later went to MT. Vernon to run the Progressive Farmer. James and his children and grandchildren were in Gibson Co. TN., which by river is a short distance from Shawneetown, where the Cokers lived. I have noticed in this area, all of the family given names being used...William, John, Riley, Isaac, James, etc. Hope we can make a connection...Marilyn
