I believe Margaret (Maggie?) BUTCHER {born: abt 1865-1868} married Eligh Edward (Edgar?) VINCENT {born: abt 1873} on 20 Oct 1894 in Cass County, IL. Looks like they had the following children: Clarence, John W., James Henry, Charles, Everette, Walter, and Mary. I believe Margaret (BUTCHER) VINCENT was living with her son, John W., in the Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois 1930 census and may have also been listed working at the "Christian Church Old People's Home" in the same census. I don't know where the VINCENTS where born or when they passed away, buried, etc. Also, would like to get some picture(s) of this family and particularly of Margaret (BUTCHER) VINCENT.

Hello VINCENT researcher, I am not sure if we are looking for the same VINCENT family, but I have a James VINCENT (unknown dates) that married Thelma WARDELL. James was supposed to have died while traveling to New Mexico in 1990's. They lived in Beardstown, Cass County, Illinois most of the time, but in the early 1970's moved to South Bend Indiana. Thelma was born in 1915. She was the daughter of Charles Everett and Elizabeth Angeline BLACK WARDELL of Beardstown. James & Thelma's children were Elaine, Nancy, & June VINCENT.
