Sec 3, 10 and 15 are not along the IL River although they appear to be by and in Meredosia Lake. My atlas is 1951 and not a very good one. I can surmise that the land in Sec. 15, NW1/4 NW 1/4 and Sec 10 southern most 1/4, could have been partially in what is now the lake. Also Sec. 3 in southern most 1/4. I do not have the town lots for Meredosia.
