Other records indicate Abraham James Goodpaster (b) abt 1744 in Augusta Co. VA, (d) 1829 in Overton Co. Tennessee. This Abraham James Goodpaster married Martha Hamilton, and had seven children, with five boys and two girls, born between the years of 1777 to 1801. It would seem possible that maybe one of these boys listed, John (b) 1778, James (b) 1780, Abraham (b) 1784 (m) Hannah Willard, or Jefferson Goodpaster (b) May 13, 1801, could be the father of your Abraham Goodpaster (b) June 14, 1817
