If I were you, I'd contact the Morgan County Courthouse in Jacksonville. They may look it up for you for free and only charge copy fees ($1 a page I think). Their volunteers are happy to do research etc. Their collection continues to grow daily. The obit collection starts in 1976, a few in earlier years, cemetery books, family reunion books, senior birthdays, anniversarys, school reunions, city directories, family histories, . plus much much more. The society also publishes a nice quarterly containing interesting data from Morgan and surrounding counties. Jacksonville Area Genalogical and Historical Society 416 S.
