    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: OGLE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ih.2ADE/1204.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks to the suggestions given me above, I discovered the 1906 biography of Dr. Frank Parson Norbury. "In 1901 Dr. Norbury and others founded Maplewood Sanatorium, in Jacksonville, for the treatment of nervous and mental diseases. The institution is under the direction of a corporation of which the Doctor is President, and he acts as Medical Superintendent of the sanatorium. It has a capacity of twenty patients, and besides the Superintendent, has a staff of eleven nurses and a House Physician. At this institution the principles of the rest cure, advocated by Weir Mitchell, are followed, with some modification." So Norbury and Maplewood appear to be the same, and while my grandfather apparently died there in 1931, his sister Deborah could not have died there as it did not exist in 1892. I wonder if she died at the state facility which existed at that time. I have not found her in any death index however.
