Hi, Julie, Can't think what the problem is, since I got the first message from you directly. I didn't even see this message until I read Ralph Sheppard's response to you and read it in his message. I wonder if you have received anything I've sent you. I did have some filters up to prevent SPAM, but since I now complain about those instead of avoiding them, I just did away with the filters. Anyhoot, you can try [email protected] (but this one doesn't take attachments, if you were to send any). Or, I just recently set up another mailbox with Yahoo to see if that would help prevent some of the spam. This addy is [email protected] and it does accept attachments. Does your older version of FTM allow import of GEDCOM files? I can send you one with everything I have from George W. & Susan to today, if you would like. Funny, not only was I in Nortonville last weekend, I was also in the general area the weekend before hunting up an old Henry Cemetery in the middle of a cornfield. Well, let me know if you get this. In the meantime, I'm going to try to call both you and Janie this weekend, just so we can hear each other's voices. Talk to you later. Mary Lou >I'm so sorry to use the list to do this, but twice now when I've tried to email you back, Mary Lou, about our Henry and McCurley lines, it gets returned with, "data format error" and something about a spam network. I think your email provider thinks I am "junk mail" and is screening me out, so I cannot contact you directly. Can you give me another email address to reach you, or check with your email provider on this? In the meantime, if you send me your address and or phone, I can use that to communicate with you! Thanks, Juli Claussen<
Mary Lou, Okay, so you say you did get my message telling you that I have FTM 7, etc. Great. I wonder why I got this message that it didn't go through. Oh well. I have been trying to put my McCurleys and Henrys in order yesterday and today. I just need to type a bit more into my FTM files and then I can send them to you. I can accept and send Gedcom files with my program, but I don't think any of the notes or photos will come through. If you can send FTM files, any version, that might work better. I have run into problems with figuring out the Henrys, as I have come across contradictory information in the various documents etc. I hope you or some one else on the list can shed some light on this. If you are interested, I have some nice photos of Susan McCurley and her daughters Ethel and Sylvia, and a family photo with Tom McLamar that includes their son Olin. I grew up in Bethalto, with frequest trips "up home" to the Scottville and Nortonville area with my Grandparents. For the last 22 years I have made the Carbondale, IL area my home. My address: Juli Claussen, 281 Glenn Rd., Murphysboro, IL 62966 phone 618/529-1024 Looking forward to collaborating with you! Juli
