He was the only FANNING in 1850 Pike Co census. May have come from Morgan Co IL. He was an Illinois volunteer in the Mexican War. Any information will be appreciated. Hi Vonda, several Fannings married into my Jackson family in Morgan/Macouin Co. However, I only have tiny pieces of Fanning information and none for your Charles.
