Middleton is Called by Death Mrs. Nellie Frances Middleton, wife of Robert H. Middleton, died at 1:35 o'clock Friday morning at her home, six miles southwest of the city. She was born near Rigsston, April 21, 1889, a daughter of Elbert and Laura Gibbs Coultas. She was united in marriage with Robert Middleton December 12, 1917. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Robert Harold and Elbert Allan Middleton. She leaves also one sister, Mrs. Fred Megginson of Lynneville community, and one brother Roy Coultas of Riggston. Mrs. Middleton was an active member of the Point Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the residence, southwest of the city, with Rev. E. A. Hedges officiating. Burial will be in the Diamond Grove Cemetery. Obit Middleton Funeral Held at Residence Services for the late Mrs. Robert Middleton were held Sunday afternoon at the family residence six miles southwest of Jacksonville, Rev. E. A. Hedges of the West Jacksonville M. E. Circuit officiating. Interment was made in Diamond Grove Cemetery. Music was given by John Lazenby, Mrs. Herbert Mawson, Miss Gertrude Wilson, and W. A. Shumaker, with Mrs. W. K. Ranson as accompanist. The floral tributes were in care of Miss Frances Heaton, Mrs. W. A. Fay, Mrs. Mary E. Myers, Miss Martha Gibbs, Miss Margaret Patterson, and Mrs. May Green. Casket bearers were James Coultas, Wilson Coultas, Albert Coultas, Clyde Sturdy, Floyd Allan and Harold Patterson. (note: buried in Diamond Grove Cemetery on Middleton plot north of road north of Mausoleum, both in Lot 29, Sec. C.)
