    3. I was recently at a scrapbooking class that discussed archiving photos and other items. When discussing newspaper clippings, they recommended making copies or if you want to maintain the color, a color copy. They said that the ink on the newspaper is what makes the paper disintegrate. They also recommend if putting a newspaper clipping with pictures or other documents to make sure that it doesn't touch anything else. Hope this helps. Susan -----Original Message----- From: Carol E. It is so fragile that it is yellow and falling to pieces and is crisp and crumbling! I know enough not to put important documents into non-acid free plastic sheets, but I haven't the slightest idea of how I can put these pieces back together and preserve them. It is also a no-no to use laminate stuff. If anyone can give me a hint I would appreciate it.
