Fellow researchers-- With the newest addition to the index of estate records in Morgan County, I see my ancestor Nehemiah CA(U)LKINS is listed, as I knew he would be. Case #144. Unfortunately when I was at the courthouse, they couldn't find the records. I'm asking if anyone happens to come across them because they were misfiled or stuck with something else, PLEASE let me know. It's been "eating at me" for a couple years, that he's listed in the index as having records but I can't read them! I'm hoping they eventually turn up. I have a copy of his son's will, Samuel CAULKINS, but I would be so grateful to see Nehemiah's probate records. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do to locate these papers, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks for all the work everyone has done on the web site. You do a terrific job!
