Then he was in "merchantile pursuits" in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., before moving to Quincy, Adams Co. before the 1850 census. Trying to find marriage/name of 1st wife who died before 1850 census. 4 children with first wife: John Wesley, Eliza J., Delilah, and David b. bet. 1841-1848. Looking for marriage/surname of 2nd wife, Susannah, marr. abt 1849.
