Dee, This doesn't help specifically with your query, but I have a copy of the Morgan County Family History, 1976, to which someone submitted an article on the descendants of Christoffel Hooglandt of South Holland who came to America in the 1650's, and talks about the Hoagland family of Morgan Co. It mentions descendants living then (1976) in Morgan Co., some of whom might still be living and may be able to assist you. Whoever the writer was, they had a considerable amount of family history info, and perhaps you can track them down using the article. I can scan and email it to you directly if you would like a copy.
