Beverly ROBINSON was born 15-Sep-1800. Various records show him born in Amherst, Campbell, Frederick or King William Counties, VA. He married Sarah Elizabeth TAYLOR on 11-Jul-1820 in Green Co., KY, and they moved to Newton Co., MO, in 1838. According to some histories, they may have lived in Morgan Co. IL, prior to moving to Missouri. At first I had his father as John Robinson, b. ca 1738-1739 in St. George, Spotsylvania Co., VA, but now believe it more likely that he was Col. Beverly Robinson, b. ca 1767 in King William Co., VA. Does anybody have any information of Beverly Robinson, where exactly he was born, and who his father was, and if he actually lived in Morgan Co., IL?
