According to IL Marriages, William Buckingham married Mrs. Mary Landers in Morgan County, IL in 1837. It appears they had three children, (1) Margaret who was born in about 1842; (2) Mary, born in about 1845; (3) William, born in about 1848. I'd like to know more about Mary Landers Buckingham. What was her maiden name? When did she die? Where is she buried? I believe my second great grandfather had a sister named Mary. I wonder if there could be a connection.
