Dear Morgan Co. Friends, I am once again seeking your help to return a family Bible with written records to a descendant of the family, and to share a lovely family photo with them. Our Great Uncle George Kehl married his friend Bessie Grigsby of Nortonville in 1937, when he was abt 70 and she was 63. Up until that time she and her unmarried brother had maintained a farming household together, and when her brother Hardin died, she and George married. Needless to say, Bessie had no offspring, and neither did her brother Hardin. Yet I know that she had at least a nephew or neice, as they are in the family photo I have. Bessie died in 1943. When Uncle George died in 1959, he left a steamer trunk of family treasures, and among them was the Grigsby family Bible that must have been in Bessie's home. We are not related to the Grigsby's and would like to see this treasure where it belongs. Thank you, Juli Claussen Seeking descendants of Henry Clay and Catherine (Bush) Grigsby in order to return a family Bible to them. Many in fam bur Gunn Cem and Whitlock Cem.
