I noticed Mrs. Edward Schaefer was a flower girl. For many years, Ed Schaefer was the funeral director in Meredosia. I had to smile when I read Hal Naylor's name. When I was growing up in Meredosia, Beulah Naylor was the organist at the Methodist Church. (I never remember her being called Mrs. Naylor. Her name was always pronounced as one word: Beulahnaylor.) Anyway, Hal had been injured "in the war" - I don't know which one. He had to wear his hat all of the time or his eyes would close. So, Hal could never attend church with his wife. I have many happy memories of the Hal and Beulah Naylor. Thanks for jogging my memory.
