Not sure but am almost certain it isn't in Macoupin, Morgan or Greene Cos. IL. Morgan is Township 13-16North and Range 7-13 West Greene is T9-12N and R 10-13W Macoupin is T7-12N and R 6-9W From your description it might be in Montgomery County, bordering Macoupin on the East.
