The Jacksonville Area Genealogcial and Historical Society is having a large sale of excess genealogical books and typed publications. Some material is for sale at a modestly set price while some of the books are up for bid during a silent auction. If you are interested in obtaining material for Morgan and surrounding counties, now might be your chance. There is a minimum bid value placed on the auction material. Is there any way possible a list of the materials to be sold could be posted on the internet (if not at this location then maybe another site) so those of us who can't make a trip over there could still make a purchase or participate in the silent auction?
