    2. If anyone can find out what happened to Jacob and Amanda Radley, after 1851 I will pay a reward. Jacob & Amanda and the three children were all living 1n the 1850 Census, with Nancy Thompson, Morgan County, Concord TWP, IL. Something happened to Jacob and Amanda Radley, the children were left behind. I want to know when and where they died? Lorma

    3. Lorma, 1850 is too early to have any record of their deaths, and I assume you have checked the cemetery listings in the area they lived. I would suggest checking the county probate and guardianship records. If they owned anything at all there would have been a probate file and perhaps an entry in the guardianship records regarding the guardian for their children. Either type of record would reference their approximate date of death at least, and would provide additional details about this family and clues for your research. I believe Morgan Co. records of this sort are on LDS film.
