    3. Hi, Online tonight on the Morgan Area Genealogical Ass. & Waverly Gen. & Hist. Society page (ILMAGA): Pulliam aka Vancil Chapel Cemetery in Macoupin County: This Cemetery was read by Mr/Mrs Merrill Stewart in the 1980's, as well as Myra Martin in the 1970's. The readings are incorporated with Obits, death certificates, etc. and transcribe here by Shirley, who else <g>. Link can be found under Macoupin County on the IL MAGA Home Page: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/index.html Two new Biographies from the 1904 Sangamon County History - surname BUCK requested by John Buck: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilsangam/bio.htm As these biographies were begun on the Sangamon Co ILGenWeb page, when I was CC, we are continuing this. No point on having them listed on two separate Web pages. And we have the full cooperation of the new Sangamon County ILGenWeb Coordinator Morris Myers. Morris is CC for Morgan County ILGenWeb also and we are lucky in that we share resources and links with him. Thanks, Morris. This also applies to Greene, Scott and Menard Counties ILGenWeb - Donna Kilroy and Jeanne Weaver. For those lists which did not receive the previous announcements, the Menard Co. Deaths are in the process of being posted with surnames A - J online, thanks to Gayle Swoik, Margaret Hohimer & Eileen Gochanour. The 1870 & 1880 Menard County Mortality Schedules are also posted. Refer to MAGA Home page for links. And we are happy to announce that soon the 1860 Greene County IL Census will be online on the MAGA page with thanks to Allen Handling who has the database with permission granted from Greene Co. Gen. Society. The publication is available for purchase from Greene Co. Gen. Society. Also, the 1860 and 1870 Scott County IL Census are in the process of being transcribed. 1860 Scott will be soon, the 1870 Scott might take awhile, as yours truly is transcribing it and I am a much slower typist than Shirley. Eileen Gochanour is the contributor/publisher of these Census. So good time to keep track of the ILMAGA page, you never know what will be next. If you haven't joined our Mailing List, now is the time. Send to [email protected] with only the word "subscribe" in the body of the message.
