    3. Hello- I am new to the list and am searching for any information regarding the McCull(e)y families in Macoupin and Morgan Counties from about the mid-1830's to the 1860's. Here is what I have been able to gather so far and they are siblings: Laura Ann McCulley, b. 1826 - either St. Clair, TN or St. Clair Co., IL died in 1904 in Morgan County, IL. She married James L. Brian in 1853 in Macoupin County, IL. They had 4 children. Thomas McCulley, b. 1828 either St. Clair, TN or St. Clair Co., IL, died in 1903 in Carlinville, IL. He served in the Civil War and was said to never be the same after the war. I don't believe that he ever married. Benjamin Ranger McCulley, b. in 1831 in St. Clair, TN or St. Clair, IL died in 1912 in Mound City, Linn County, Kansas. He first married Charlotta Samples in 1850 in probably Morgan County as he is found in the census there in that year. He is living with Samuel Cummings and his wife Mary McCulley Cummings who is some type of relative. In 1860, he is found living in Macoupin County, IL. In 1870, he is found in Vernon County, Missouri. Charlotta died in 1877 in Vernon County, MO and he married Mary McNutt in 1878 and had 6 more children. They may have also had a brother named Moses McCulley that married Julie Ann McCulley in 1856 in Macoupin County. Anyone connect to any of this? Thanks, Connie
