Hi list, I'm looking for the mailing address or phone for Youngblood (Baptist) Church. It's not in yellowpages.com. But found it listed and mapped in Geographic Names Information System - just east and south of Murrayville. Anyone know who to contact? Thanks Irvina (near Seattle)
Hello- I am new to the list and am searching for any information regarding the McCull(e)y families in Macoupin and Morgan Counties from about the mid-1830's to the 1860's. Here is what I have been able to gather so far and they are siblings: Laura Ann McCulley, b. 1826 - either St. Clair, TN or St. Clair Co., IL died in 1904 in Morgan County, IL. She married James L. Brian in 1853 in Macoupin County, IL. They had 4 children. Thomas McCulley, b. 1828 either St. Clair, TN or St. Clair Co., IL, died in 1903 in Carlinville, IL. He served in the Civil War and was said to never be the same after the war. I don't believe that he ever married. Benjamin Ranger McCulley, b. in 1831 in St. Clair, TN or St. Clair, IL died in 1912 in Mound City, Linn County, Kansas. He first married Charlotta Samples in 1850 in probably Morgan County as he is found in the census there in that year. He is living with Samuel Cummings and his wife Mary McCulley Cummings who is some type of relative. In 1860, he is found living in Macoupin County, IL. In 1870, he is found in Vernon County, Missouri. Charlotta died in 1877 in Vernon County, MO and he married Mary McNutt in 1878 and had 6 more children. They may have also had a brother named Moses McCulley that married Julie Ann McCulley in 1856 in Macoupin County. Anyone connect to any of this? Thanks, Connie

Hi, The Ceres Cemetery and all Greene County Cemeteries, were taken down for possible copyright problems, which was announced in a message to ILMAGA subscribers Friday. After this is checked out thoroughly they will probably be posted again. Just playing it safe. Keep watch. This message should have been addressed to the ILMAGA List, they were posted there, not on Morgan Co ILGW. I know it is confusing and all because of copyrights problems <g> Mary Ann At 07:07 AM 03/04/2000 -0500, you wrote: >Have looked for the Ceres Cemetery entries and wasn't able to find >it. I have uploaded three Cass County IL Cemeteries and the Biography Index to 1912 Sangamon Co IL History. Shirley has sent me many more items that I have just not felt like working with, as this human virus is still hanging on. Also for the couple of Biographies from 1904 History that have been requested, I promise I will get them online. Go to Home page and click on interested link, they are marked with "New". http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/index.html Mary Ann - ------------------------------------------------------ Mary Ann Kaylor & Shirley Aleguas In IL - Morgan Area Genealogical Association & Waverly GHS http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/index.html Dedicated to Free Online Resources from West Central IL MAGA Mailing List: [email protected] My Family Genealogy http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~makaylor/index.html Surnames: KAYLOR, TEDROW, CONVERSE, STEWART, PHELAN ROBISON, NELSON, ENGLAND, JONES, ROBERTS, ICKES, CORY, BOBBITT, BOYD and many others
