    3. On the Morgan Area Genealogical Association page (MAGA), I have uploaded the following: Morgan County Death Dates abstracted from Inheritance Tax Record Books 1, 2, & 3 by Florence Hutchison. These death dates begin in 1898 and go through the 1940's. Copies of these cannot be obtained, but one can check Probate Files, Death Certificates or Obituaries for more information. IL State Archives has death certificates from 1916 through 1946, before 1916 check with the County Clerk in Jacksonville. New online Morgan Area Genealogical Association (MAGA) Web Page tonight: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/index.html 1) Sims Cemetery Inscriptions, located NW of Modesto in Macoupin County 2) IL Christian Home Burials in Diamond Grove Cem., Jacksonville, Morgan County. No County of residence identified, but certain to be from surrounding Counties. While searching in Morgan, it might be helpful to look at the IL Central State Hospital Cemetery Listings, as most of the burials are from Counties other than Morgan. Look under the individual Counties for Links. 3) List of Early Occupations contributed by Gayle Swoik - can be found under Helpful Links or at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmaga/occup.html This is interesting and can be used as a reference when you come across an occupation that you can't identify.
