Dear Archie, I was checking my resources at here at home for anything on your Holmes family, and I found a reference in one of my books to a "Daniel Holmes Cemetery southeast of Jacksonville." This reference is to burials that took place there in 1829 and 1846 of Mary and Henry Gilmore. I had never heard of this cemetery before, and wondered if you were aware of it.
