The only thing I have on Rufus Sanders (besides seeing him in the 1880 census) is that he married Gretta M Lang. He was 52 at the time of their marriage and she was 37. She had stayed with her mom and dad until after her dad died in 1930. Made no sense to me, but it's true. Rufus 1st married Nellie Richmond, but I have not looked them up in the census. I think she died in 1919 or so. Gretta is buried in Glendale Cemetery (although it is not on my listing) The listing is old, one done years ago by Sanders class. I am supposing Rufus died in Montgomery County....if so I could look him up at the courthouse oen day when I have some time. Levi's sister, Ruth Whiten married Elza Creel Sanders but she died in 1848. Priscilla's sister Chloe married Charles Alvin Sanders but their last child was born in 1855. Maybe he's a great nephew from one of these 2 families? > > Any insights, help appreciated. > Lynne > > > ==== ILMONTGO Mailing List ==== > Visit the Montgomery County ILGenWeb Home Page! > http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmontgo/ > >
