    3. Hello list: Others on this list have had good luck finding cemeteries in Montomery co. I was born in Montg. Co., but live in New Mexico. I have an ancestor David Sturgeon who was buried in a private cemetery that is located on the Brohammer farm in East Fork Township in the corner near a curve in the road. About 5 or 6 years ago, I visited that location. Mr. Brohammer allowed my cousin and I to go into his horse pasture and search for the gravestones of the burial site. We were able to dig up several stones that were buried under about 3 inches of dirt. We found the stone of David Sturgeon, plus some of my Sanders line. I have asked the Montg. Co. Genealogical Society to go to this location, and get permission from Mr. Brohammer to locate as many of the stones from this cemetery as possible and have them recorded. After 5 or 6 years, they have not done anything about it. Does anyone know anything about this private cemetery, and do you know of someone that might be able to check into getting these stones recorded? I am afraid they will again be buried, and the stones will be forever lost. I would really like to see the area roped off, or fenced off and preserved. Thaniks for any information you can give.
