The GOODSON-TRAVERS marriage and the TRAVERS-GERLACH marriage occurred in Montgomery County, Illinois in 1886 and 1904. Both families were living in the Raymond, Pitman, Waggoner areas. I think the Michael Gerlach, father of Oscar, had lived in Macoupin County, Illinois. My connection is through the Travers family. The George B. Travers who was the father of Jennie M. Travers Gerlach was born in 1828 Dorsetshire, England and lived in Shipman, Macoupin County, Illinois before his marriage and moving to Montgomery County, IL.
