The obit in the Litchfield paper on Charles Row said that he died in his home in Gillespie. He retired from the railroad in Feb 1942. He had resided in Gillespie for 12 yrs. He married Ida O. Simmons (sp) in 1895. She died a number of years ago and on Feb 7, 1906 he married Anna B. Cranfill of Hillsboro who survives. He leaves 4 children, Mrs. Creole Fleischman, Rolla MO, Mrs Capitola King of Edwardsville, IL, Mrs Ethel Sandahl of Benld, IL, and Charles of Troy, IL. The 3 children born of the first marriage, David, Mrs Annie Lichene and Mrs Mabel Fletcher, and one of the second, Wilfred, preceded him in death. I did not find any Rowe's in Crabtree cemetery but I have not been through it in several years.
