Several years ago, I looked up and copied many property deeds or what ever they call the ownership history of a piece of property. If you decide to write to the Genealogy Society of Montgomery Co, their address is Montgomery County Genealogy Society, P.O. Box 112, Litchfield, IL 62056. However the place where these records are held is the Hillsboro, IL Courthouse. You would probably be better off righting to them. I don't know if they do look-ups or not. Tiss
